Our year has flown by - the final few weeks in Room 3!!!

Here we are having fun with our reading buddies again. This time they taught us how to make gorgeous bumblebees and ladybirds!

We worked hard all term and earned our prize of Pyjama day. We brought in our teddies and had a Teddy Bear Sports Day!!

Teddy Bear Piggy Back races...

Teddy running races...

Teddy Bear Tennis...

Teddy Bear Throwing...

Teddy Bear Limbo...

Intercultural Day in Room 3 was a huge success!!! A big thanks to Adam's mum Ilona, who came into our classroom a taught everyone how to make traditional Polish art!

We had great time using our coins for the coin trail. All monies collected go to the S.N.P.A.

We started off our Fruit Party Day learning about fruit and vegetables. Our table looked very impressive full of 27 different types of fruit and veg! Everyone had a taste of at least 5 pieces and the table was cleared by the time we went home!!!

We learned about the artist Kandinsky and made our own Kandinsky circles!

We tried lots of different sports on our Sports Day, such as relay races, soccer, spud and spoon race and skipping.

As a treat for how well everyone behaved on our school tour, all of the Junior Infants were given an ice-cream. They were delighted!!!

School tour for Room 3!

We had a fabulous day on our school tour to Leahy's Farm last Tuesday. Everyone had lots of fun and here are some of the highlights...

The obstacle course was pretty tricky!

We met and even fed Humphrey the Camel!

Who could get through the maze the quickest, climb the tower and ring the bell??!!!

We had great fun whizzing around on the quad!

We loved petting and feeding all the animals. Some of us were very brave and held a mouse or a snake, well done!

The bus was probably what everyone was most looking forward to and our Alphabet Song sing-song was very cute to hear!
