Space Invasion in Room 1!!

Throughout the month of January, we had great fun playing in our class rocket and space centre. We learned about the different planets in our Solar System. We had great fun making our own aliens and going on space adventures during Aistear time! We visited Mr. O' Flynn's class where we listened to a funny Space story, sang a song about Space and shared our knowledge of Space with his class. It was great fun and we learned lots of new facts from our new friends. A special thanks to Sarah's dad Gabriel, who came to speak to us about his time working with NASA. He showed us a video of a real rocket launch. We also really enjoyed the video about how to brush your teeth in space!
