While learning about what and who can fly, we decided to make paper aeroplanes and have a competition to see whose plane could fly the furthest!!

Every few weeks our reading buddies from 5th class visit. We read our little books to them and they read lots of stories back. Everyone really enjoys Reading Buddies!
Here we are sorting shapes into different groups. The children came up with lots of ideas of how to do this, e.g. colour, size, shape.

St. Patrick's Day in Room 3, just before we went outside for our parade!
While learning about shadows in the classroom, we paired up and using chalk, drew each other's shadow. We then went outside later in the day to find that our shadows are moved!!! Great fun!!
Here we are using counters and dice to combine sets and learn to add.
Our fruit party was a great success! Everyone tried lots of different fruits - thanks to everyone for sending in such wonderful tasters!!
